At the heart of Morrison's programs is a commitment to early intervention and prevention services for at-risk young children. By providing effective treatment to young children as early as possible, we can avoid the need for more costly and restrictive services later in the children's lives.

Imagine a two year old who has already been in 12 different foster homes. That's just one example of a child who is "falling through the cracks." Morrison is here to catch that child and turn her life in a positive direction.

Morrison responds early and effectively to address children's developmental needs, working directly with the child, and with the child's family (or families, in the case of foster or proctor homes) to develop a supportive environment for growth. We face head on the issues of fetal alcohol and drug syndrome, abuse and neglect, mental health challenges and related quality of life issues. We also try to keep children from "falling through the cracks" in the first place, by reaching out to parents to build skills and provide special attention as needed.
