Our foster care programs provide short-term, respite, transitional, and therapeutic home care for youth in our community, providing support for youth who come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of needs. Some youth receive drug and/or alcohol treatment and others need a short-term, stable environment to help them along the right path.
We implement treatment plans that are developed with program staff and advocate, on behalf of youth, with school districts, caseworkers, court-appointed special advocates, and children’s attorneys. We support healthy transitions to permanent family placements.
We provide foster care homes that are integrated with treatment services and programs offered by Morrison and community providers. Our foster homes offer positive role models and experiences for youth. Our Foster Care team recruits, screens, and trains prospective foster parents to support them through the process of becoming foster care providers. Our foster care services operate year-round, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
