SAGE Program Director Kelli Doolittle and Director of Strategic Initiatives Laurel North attended the SAGE 10 Year Anniversary last week.
We’re proud to announce that it’s our SAGE Residential Program’s 10-year anniversary this January. SAGE is a unique secure and trauma-informed residential program in Oregon that provides long-term treatment and stabilization for survivors of sex trafficking, ages 11-17.

Chief Program Officer Margaret Scott and CEO Nick Gallo speak about SAGE’s beginnings more than ten years ago.
SAGE helps youth experience Support, Achieve their goals, Grow, and become Empowered (SAGE). The program places the focus on providing a nurturing, safe, trauma-informed milieu that recognizes each youth’s strengths and resilience and gives them an opportunity to engage in treatment when they are ready.
The children at SAGE work hard to address the trauma they have experienced and learn how to move forward after graduating from the program. Since opening in 2015, SAGE has served 142 youth, many of whom successfully complete the program, build healthy relationships with family and friends, and remain on track to graduate from high school.
We’re so proud of the work they accomplish in their time at SAGE and beyond. We held a small gathering at SAGE in late January to commemorate SAGE’s anniversary and celebrate the amazing staff who make it all work.
