Morrison Announces Nick Gallo as CEO

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Gallo, MSW as the incoming Chief Executive Officer for Morrison Child and Family Services, following the retirement of Drew Henrie-McWilliams at the end of this year.

Nick came to Morrison in February 2022 as our new Chief of Staff after nearly 5 years as the Executive Director of Youth Progress and various leadership roles at Self Enhancement IncSocial Venture Partners Portland, and the Oregon Department of Human Services.

Nick has a Masters of Social Work, with a focus on Administration and Management, and he has over 20 years of experience developing programs and organizations to best meet the needs of children and families in Oregon. Additionally, he has been a community partner with Morrison Child and Family Services for over 15 years. We are excited for the leadership Nick has already brought to Morrison and know that he will carry on Drew’s legacy as we continue to make positive impacts in the lives of over 7,000 children and families in Oregon.

We also give a heartfelt thank you to Drew, who has touched the lives of countless children and families throughout his long tenure and earned the love and respect from Morrison staff and board members. Oregon and our fellow children’s services agencies have benefitted from his tenacity, never-waning energy, and full commitment to increasing support for and investments into services for children and families. Drew is leaving Morrison in strong and capable hands as we welcome Nick into his new role as CEO in January.
